    GypsyPlate’s 3rd Birthday

It’s GypsyPlate’s Day again… She is 3 year old!! We are in celebration mode here…

Our baby is growing big. She is no longer a baby, but becoming a toddler just like our Noah. Yes, we always think of GypsyPlate as our second baby, as they are almost like Irish twins. Noah was born on Sept 6th, 2018, and GypsyPlate on August 12th, 2019. So yes, we are so humbled and blessed to see our babies growing wonderfully.

A lot has happened over the span of 3 years. Last year we went on to Mediavine, one of the best advertising networks. This year, in January, Jason came full time onboard. That means more cooking, more writing, more posting and more growth.

We’ve even added my sister, Amu, to the team. She has been helping a lot behind the scenes.

In between all this cooking and building a business together, we’ve discovered that we are a perfect husband and wife team in this venture. We both have our strong points that compliment each other beautifully.

Jason is a thinker, the brain behind GypsyPlate, as well as a great cook and a good dishwasher when needed. I am getting good at staging, implementing quickly if something goes wrong, and leaning towards ethnic cooking. The result is tons of recipes churning every day and reaching to the masses.

Noah is learning the business, too…

Our main traffic source is of course Google, contributing to about 85% of our traffic. Google definitely is Lord here at the Beisers’, and I am thinking making a small idol in my shrine. Next comes social medias like Pinterest, followed by Facebook, which is very negligible. As the site gets older and gains more authority, Google starts liking you, and it’s showing in the case of GypsyPlate.

Since last year, we started traveling a little bit more, and now we have a lot of flexibility to work from anywhere. All we need is a good internet, our computers and some recipes cooked up ahead of time. We can be anywhere, and GypsyPlate goes on.

Slowly you will see its metamorphosis into a travel site, as there are many travel posts coming in the future. So far, we have featured travel posts on Charleston, New Orleans, Puerto Rico and India. (A major one is coming soon. I won’t spoil the surprise yet.)

Last but not least, we would like to thank all our readers, from all over the world, all our subscribers who come back to GypsyPlate again and again. Thank you very much for liking our food and helping us grow to where we are now.

And thank you GypsyPlate, for coming into our lives. You truly change our life, and give us so much happiness. May you continue to grow and prosper and turn into a beautiful site.

    Happy 3rd Birthday… cheers!!
