    35 BEST Indian Chicken Recipes

    This collection of easy and delicious Indian Chicken Recipes will add some big flavor to your ordinary chicken! We love these tasty tikka kebabs:

    Ingredients

    • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts or thighs
    • 1/2 cup yogurt
    • 1 Tbsp ginger paste
    • 1.5 Tbsp garlic paste
    • 2 tsp red chili powder or paprika
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp cumin powder
    • 3 tsp coriander powder
    • 1 tsp garam masala powder
    • 1 Tbsp kasoori methi powder
    • 1 lemon, juiced
    • 3 Tbsp chopped cilantro
    • 2 Tbsp chopped mint
    • 1 Tbsp oil
    • 2 Tbsp melted butter
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Instructions

    1. Crush garlic and ginger into paste.
    2. Add herbs, spices, oil and lemon juice to yogurt and mix thoroughly.
    3. Cut chicken into bite size pieces and add to marinade.
    4. Marinate chicken in refrigerator, at least 5-6 hours, preferably overnight. In a pinch, even 30 minute marination will give you tasty tikkas.
    5. Preheat oven to 500°F.
    6. Skewer chicken pieces and place on greased, foil lined, baking sheet.
    7. Bake 15 minutes, turn tikkas and baste with melted butter or ghee. Return to oven.
    8. Bake and additional 10-15 minutes.
    9. Broil 3-4 minutes, while keeping close eye on your tikkas, to get nice char marks.
