    • 3 cups diced leftover turkey (or chicken)
    • 1 lb pork breakfast sausage
    • 2 15.5oz cans navy beans, drained and rinsed

    • 2 poblano peppers
    • 2 Tbsp cooking oil
    • 3 cups chicken broth
    • 2 tsp chili powder
    • 2 tsp cumin
    • 1 tsp oregano
    • 1 tsp black pepper
    • 1/4 cup heavy cream

    Instructions

    1. Chop vegetables, removing seeds from poblano peppers. Heat oil in dutch oven over medium high heat. Add vegetables and sauté until onions are translucent.
    2. Add sausage, break up with spoon and cook stirring frequently, until browned, about 10 minutes.
    3. Add beans, spices and broth. Bring to boil, reduce heat to medium low and simmer, uncovered, about 30 minutes.
