    How to Cook Green Beans (30 Tasty Ways)

    This great collection of easy Green Bean Recipes will give you a new appreciation for that classic veggie. For a simple start, try this yummy three bean salad.

    Ingredients

    Salad

    • 2 cups green beans, cut
    • 1 15oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    • 1 15oz can chick peas, drained and rinsed

    Dressing

    • 1/4 cup olive oil
    • 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
    • 1 Tbsp sugar
    • 1/4 cup chopped parsley

    Instructions

      1. Bring a pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add in green beans. Cook for 2 minutes.
      2. Place the green beans in ice water bath until they cool, then drain.
      3. Toss green bean, kidney beans and chick peas in a bowl.
      4. Whisk together a dressing ingredients.
      5. Pour dressing over salad and toss well.
      6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
