The 30 BEST Green Bean Recipes
This great collection of easy Green Bean Recipes will give you a new appreciation for that classic veggie. For a simple start, try this yummy three bean salad.
Ingredients
Salad
- 2 cups green beans, cut
- 1 15oz can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 15oz can chick peas, drained and rinsed
Dressing
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 Tbsp sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to a boil over high heat. Add in green beans. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Place the green beans in ice water bath until they cool, then drain.
- Toss green bean, kidney beans and chick peas in a bowl.
- Whisk together a dressing ingredients.
- Pour dressing over salad and toss well.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
