- 2 Tbsp cooking oil, divided
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 Tbsp ginger, finely chopped
- 5 mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup green beans
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1/2 red bell pepper, chopped
- 1/4 onion, diced
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
- Heat 1 Tbsp oil in a wok or large skillet over medium high heat. Add the ground beef and cook till it is browned, breaking it up as you go along. Add the ginger and garlic and cook for a minute or two. Remove to a plate.
- Add remaining oil (if needed) to the pan. Add vegetables and cook to your preferred doneness (we like to keep them pretty fresh and crisp).
- Mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, honey, rice vinegar, and red chili flakes in a bowl to create the sauce.
- Add back in the beef, along with the sauce, and mix till everything is well combined. Cook for a couple of minutes.
- Serve immediately with fresh rice.
