    35+ BEST High Protein Soups

    This collection of High Protein Soups includes over 35 delicious recipes that are sure to win you over.

    Ingredients

    • 1 meaty ham bone
    • 1 onion, diced
    • 3 stalks celery, diced
    • 3 medium carrots, diced
    • 14oz dried split peas, rinsed and sorted
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 bay leaves
    • 1 tsp dried thyme
    • 1.5 tsp dried oregano
    • ½-1 tsp crushed red pepper
    • 4 cups low sodium chicken broth

    Instructions

    1. Place all ingredients in slow cooker. Mix to combine well.
    2. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours, or until peas are fully cooked. (see note 3)
    3. Carefully remove the ham bone from the slow cooker and place it on a large cutting board. Remove all meat from the bone. Return the meat to the slow cooker. Mix well.
    4. Serve immediately.
