    40 BEST Wok Recipes

    This collection of quick Wok Recipes includes plenty of stir fry dishes that all make great easy weeknight dinners. We love this basic chicken dish:

    Ingredients

    Stir Fry

    • 1lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into thin pieces or strips
    • 2-3 Tbsp oil
    • 5 garlic cloves, finely chopped
    • 1 Tbsp ginger, finely chopped
    • 6oz mushrooms, sliced
    • 1 carrot, diced
    • 2 cups broccoli, cut into florets
    • 1 red bell pepper, diced
    • 1 yellow bell pepper, diced
    • 1/2 red onion, diced
    • 6oz snow peas
    • salt to taste

    Stir Fry Sauce

    • 3 Tbsp soy sauce
    • 1 Tbsp oyster sauce
    • 1 Tbsp hoisin sauce
    • 1 tsp rice vinegar
    • 1/2 Tbsp honey
    • 1/2 tsp red chili flakes
    • 1/2 tsp dark soy sauce (optional)

    Instructions

    1. In a bowl, mix all stir fry sauce ingredients together. Set aside.
    2. Add oil to a large skillet or wok and heat on medium high heat. Once oil is hot, add chicken to the wok and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add in salt, ginger and garlic. Cook till most of the liquid evaporates.
    3. Add in all the veggies except snow peas and stir fry till veggies are crisp tender.
    4. Mix in the stir fry sauce and combine everything for a minute or two, till everything is well coated with sauce. Add in snow peas and cook for a minute or two.
    5. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
