    Yakisoba Sauce

If you want to take your stir fry game to the next level, you’ve gotta start with a great sauce. And let me tell you, Yakisoba Sauce is one of the best.

We love our basic Stir Fry Sauce, and Hunan Sauce is our go-to when we want something spicy. But this Japanese version is very unique.

    Ingredients Needed

For exact measurements, see the recipe card at the end of the post. Here is what you’ll need:

    Yakisoba sauce ingredients.
    • Soy Sauce – Pretty much a staple in all stir fry sauces.
    • Oyster Sauce – Another Asian staple.
    • Worcestershire Sauce – Surprise! Yes, Worcestershire sauce in stir fry. That’s what makes it so unique.
    • Mirin – This is a Japanese rice wine. If you don’t have it, that’s okay, but it does go very well here.
    • Ketchup – I like a little in there for some tang.
    • Sugar – Just a little to balance everything out.

I just measure all the ingredients and whisk them together in a bowl. Easy, huh?

    How to Use It

This sauce is most commonly used with the Japanese stir fry, Yakisoba. It typically features wheat based noodles, some type of meat, and a variety of veggies.

I’ve also tried it in other stir fry dishes and it works great. That addition of Worcestershire sauce gives it a really nice flavor.
