- 1.5 lbs salmon fillet
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp butter
- 1 Tbsp brown mustard
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup pecans
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Combine maple syrup, butter, salt, pepper and cayenne in small pan. Bring to low boil and simmer until thickened.
- Meanwhile, cut salmon into four equal pieces and arrange skin side down on greased or foil lined baking pan.
- Crush pecans, unless already crushed.
- Brush maple syrup mixture onto salmon pieces, then sprinkle on crushed pecans.
