Tips for Cooking with Boneless Chicken Thighs
- Preheat your skillet, oven or grill. This will help to ensure that your chicken cooks evenly.
- Season your chicken. In addition to whatever seasonings go in the dish, it’s best to season the chicken first with salt and pepper.
- Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of your chicken. This is the most accurate way to ensure that your chicken is cooked through.
- Cook your chicken to the correct temperature. 165°F is the safe internal temperature for chicken. However, for very tender chicken thigh meat, we prefer to cook to 180°F.
- Make your cleanup easier. If you are cooking your boneless chicken thighs in the oven, line the baking sheet with parchment paper to make cleanup easier.
- Let your chicken rest for a few minutes before slicing. This will allow the juices to redistribute throughout the chicken, making it more tender.
