The 40 BEST Ways to Cook Shrimp
If you're looking for some great shrimp recipes, you're in the right place! This collection of 30+ recipes are both varied and delicious. For a quick start, try this easy shrimp cocktail!
Ingredients
For the shrimp
- 2lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined.
- 1 lemon, halved
For the cocktail sauce
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 prepared horseradish sauce
- 1 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp hot sauce
Instructions
- Fill large pot with water. Squeeze the juice from the lemon into the water and place in lemon halves. Bring to a boil over medium high heat..
- Add in shrimp and cook until until pink, 3-5 minutes depending on the size of the shrimp.
- Drain and transfer shrimp to an ice water bath to stop the cooking process and cool them. Store shrimp in refrigerator until ready to serve.
- Combine all ingredients for cocktail sauce.
